Long conduit runs from generator to house (over 30 ft) — $8–$14 per foot

Permit & Inspection in DFW Cities

Every DFW city requires a permit. Typical timeline from contract to running generator:

1. Load calc + gas sizing — same day

2. Permit pull (Burleson, Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield) — 3–7 business days

3. Install day — 6–10 hours, power off for 30–45 min for transfer switch

4. City inspection — 1–5 days after install

5. Generac / Kohler factory startup + first exercise cycle — same day as inspection
